Adolescent Research Subjects Wanted (Ages 12 - 21)
"Study of Adolescents with Down Syndrome and Their Families"
This study includes parents and their children with Down syndrome between the ages of 12 and 21. This is a relatively easy study, consisting of a number of questionnaires for parents to complete about their children's behaviors, as well as about parent-family stress and coping strategies. The teens with Down syndrome are given a brief cognitive and language assessment (which is videotaped for later coding). They pay $ 75 for completion of the study.
