Educational Community Programs

Most school age children and teens in our region who have Down syndrome attend public school in the county in which they reside.  Below are community resources for pre and post school age.

Orange Grove Center
    A private, non-profit orginization, started in 1953, to serve individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.  Contracts with Hamilton County to provide educational services as well as providing adult training programs and resedential centers throughout Hamilton County

    Strengthening children, adults, and families through services focusing on disabilities, early childhood education, and self sufficiency

Siskin Children's Institute
    Siskin School provides a quality preschool education to young children with and without disabilities

Trousdale School, Cleveland, TN
