Most school age children and teens in our region who have Down syndrome attend public school in the county in which they reside. Below are community resources for pre and post school age.

Chattanooga Community Calendar for Families of Children with Disabilities (August-December)

This document is a list of upcoming events in the Chattanooga area that are available to families of children with disabilities. It is not considered to be comprehensive but rather is an attempt to list in one place some of the many informative and supportive activities available for families.

These listings cover late August through December. Similar calendars will be developed on a quarterly basis.

The entries are the result of a collaborative effort by many agencies in our community to provide a quick and easy way to view available services.

We welcome all organizations and support groups in the area to submit events for inclusion in this quarterly calendar.

To submit events for the first quarter 2010 calendar, send your contributions to Beth Oldham, Family Support Coordinator at Siskin Children's Institute. beth.oldham@siskin.org or (423) 648-1757
